Explosive Rants – Mother’s Day
Whilst this Podcast is in the Explosive Rants section, it is not
exactly a Rant. This is my way of honouring my mother on Mothers Day.
Please give a HUGE Mum’s Day welcome to the microphone in Studio 3 to
‘Ellie Explosion’.
Happy Mother’s Day Ellie, and to all the footy mums out there. We
wouldn’t be here at all without your love, care and affection over the
years, not to mention those magic kisses to fix all sorts of aches,
pains and footy injuries.
I love you mum, and I am sure that all listeners would like to echo their sentiments to their own mothers all around the world.

think there will be a lot of punters who are glad that The Explosion is
becoming obsolete on footytalk.com.au after the efforts of Ellie
Explosion.

Trez. Yeah, mum goes alright. It is amazing how we generally don’t
lavish enough love and affection on our mum’s except for when Mother’s
Day comes around. This way, I can show her all year round and now the
whole world knows it too. Mind you, Ellie Explosion did all the hard
work.

No Probs Pete. Thanks for your kind words. I will pass them on to Ellie at the earliest possible convenience.
I don’t know if she will get the chance to get online again
throughout the year – or if she would really want to after that but we
can always ask. The difficulty is that she lives in country Vic and
Studio 2 doesn’t travel very well.
Still, we can only try.
