Supercoach. Rd 5, 2010
After losing one of the unbeaten teams last week – sorry Le Ferrey – the Juddernaught, Joost Gaack and Marty’s Boys continue to roll along with little to really trouble them. This week sees two of the big guns up against each other in the “Jeff Kennett Format” where each team only plays each other once, so it will be interesting to see which trades happen during the week, and who has the big talk.
Both Coaches rival Kevin Sheedy with their outlandish statements and ‘confident’ attitudes so I look forward to seeing lots of abuse in the coaches box this week.
At the bottom end of the ladder, Noisy is still dreaming, and Auction seems to have sold the farm down the river as both have not only not registered a win, both have struggled to put a decent score on the board.
Riewoldt’s NUTS is just going along and trying to build on a solid start to the year.

In our second League, Witz Wizards and Never Mind the Kits continue their strong form early in the year and are really positioning themselves for a shot at the big time title. In a change to his normal M.O, Witz has decided to go full on right from the start of the year and is not relying on a late run into the finals. One wonders whether this may backfire later in the year.
Moles had an easy win over the Hammers, and surprisingly, Sheedy was taken to the cleaners by NUTS. Good work! Blutus’ Brigade seems to be struggling a little but that’s acceptable from a New Zealander who should be more concerned with the All- White’s efforts at the MCG on May 24th. (that is one of the only times I will ever make a non-disparaging remark about soccer on this forum so don’t expect any more).
